Yangshuo Shuttle

You can get public shuttle buses to Yangshuo just outside of Moon Hill Village on the main highway. If you wait by the village entrance, you'll see small mini-vans with Chinese characters on their dashboard. Wave one down and just ask, “Yangshuo?” They will indicate if they go or not. Most of them do go to West Street entrance (Xi Jie) and will drop you there. The fare is no more than RMB 5 per person.

The Yangshuo Village Inn can also organize a private car for you to West Street, or closer to the downtown at Twin Moon Bridge. A private VW Santana or minibus is RMB 30 from our guesthouse entrance.

A simple and inexpensive way to get from our Yangshuo hotel to West Street in the center of town, is to take a public minibus, which is just a 10 minute walk from the Yangshuo Village Inn. The minibuses come by frequently, usually about every 5-10 minutes and take you into Yangshuo in under 20 minutes for only 2.5 RMB. It's a great bargain if you don't mind sharing with local people and their groceries. If you prefer to take a taxi from the Yangshuo Village Inn, we can have a car waiting for you in under 20 minutes. Local driver charge 30 RMB into Yangshuo, but it's faster and certainly a better option in bad weather. If prices change, we will update the Yangshuo information in this online guide.
